HOSTS NEEDED – An Episcopal Youth Choir out of Charlotte, NC contacted us and asked if we could help host the kids if they did a concert here in Parkersburg.  The concert will likely be at Good Shepherd.  They would like the two churches to host a dinner at Good Shepherd and need hosts for 50 kids.  They want to send at least two kids to each house.  The date is June 15, 2017.  We need to get back to them right away if we can provide homes.  So if you are willing to host, please let me know right away and how many kids you can host.

GREAT VIGIL – There is a signup sheet on the bulletin board in Trinity Hall for you to sign up for the Great Vigil which begins immediately following the Maundy Thursday service. The time slots are in 30 minute segments and you may sign up for as many as you wish. Please refer to the Trinity Times for more information.

EASTER EGG HUNT – The annual Trinity Easter Egg hunt will be Saturday, April 15th, 11:00 a.m. at the home of Ann Bailey at 55th Street and River Road in Vienna. Please bring a bag or basket to collect eggs. Prizes, as well as carrots, and apples to feed the horses, are provided. We ask that each child participating bring canned goods or toiletries to help stock the Trinity Food Pantry.

FYNE JUNQUE SALE – April 28th – 8 am to 3 pm and 6 pm to 8 pm (evening hours are part of downtownpkb event: Merchants and Artists Walk) April 29th – 8 am to 1 pm. Lunch to be announced later Please continue to bring in items to be sold and be ready to volunteer your time to help.

APRIL DONATION ENVELOPES – No matter what the circumstances may be, a caring person can make the difference for a child who has been abused or neglected. CASA is a program where trained court appointed volunteers represent the best interest of an abused or neglected child for whom placement is being determined by the court. A CASA volunteer acts as a fact finder of the child’s best interest, providing a judge with valuable information about the child to help the court make a sound decision about the child’s future. Everyone has a gift they can share to make the difference for an abused or neglected child. Volunteer, make a contribution or donate your expertise.
