  1. PAUL VACATION

Fr. Paul will be on vacation May 8-May 13. Contact Susie with any emergencies that may arise.

DOK BOOK STUDY

DOK book study has been moved up by one week, to May 20th, to avoid the Memorial Day Holiday weekend.  We will go over chapters 10 and 11.

MAY DONATION ENVELOPES

The May outreach envelopes will be for the Peterkin Scholarship Fund to assist campers who will be attending summer camp this year.

GRADUATION

Graduation season is fast approaching. If you have a family member who is graduating from high school or college this year, please call Susie and give her the name and school from which they will be graduating.

PETERKIN WORK WEEKEND – A work weekend at Peterkin to get the camp ready for summer is scheduled for May 19th. A suggested donation to offset costs to the camp is $75/person for the weekend; however, don’t let a lack of cash prevent you from going. Contact Daisy McBride at Peterkin to register.

MATTRESSES FOR PETERKIN – All of the money to purchase 33 mattresses for Gravatt Hall has been raised. Many thanks to those who donated to make this ministry a possibility.

PETERKIN COLLEGE AND YOUNG ADULT CAMP – The College and Young Adult Camp has been moved to the start of the Peterkin camping season, May 30 (Tuesday) -June 3. This is a chance for anyone under 40 who has been out of high school at least one year to experience Peterkin.

FLOOD RELIEF COMMITTEE – The Episcopal Diocese of WV is asking if anyone at Trinity would be interested in being a liaison to the Long Term Flood Relief Committee in Roane County.  Among other things you would attend a meeting of the Unmet Needs Committee to see if there are unmet needs with which Trinity could assist.  The Diocese has some matching funds to help.  If this sounds like something you might want to be involved with, please see Fr. Paul for additional information.
