DIRECTORY PICTURES – We are getting closer to producing our in-house pictorial directory but we still need several family pictures. A draft of the directory is in the Memorial Library. If you have a picture you would like to use you may email it to Jim Full at news@trinity-church.org, or to Fr. Paul at frpaulhicks@trinity-church.org., or you can drop off pictures to the office. We will also be taking pictures during coffee hour if that is more convenient. We want to get everyone’s picture so our directory will be complete.
GRADUATION RECOGNITION – Next Sunday is Graduate Recognition Sunday. If you have not given the names of family graduates to Susie, please do that A.S.A.P. We will honor the graduates at the 10:30 service.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL – Trinity will be participating in Vacation Bible School with First Lutheran Church and Good Shepherd. It will be held at First Lutheran starting on Wednesday June 28th and will continue each Wednesday in July (5, 12, 19, and 26). Dinner will be served at 5:30 pm and the program will conclude at approximately 7:30 pm. each night. There will be an adult component as well for parents or any other interested adult. Trinity will provide at least one of the dinners and we need a few volunteers to assist with the meals and other aspects of the VBS program. The Clergy will work together to facilitate the adult forum.
THANK YOU – I want to offer, on behalf of myself and the congregation, a very sincere thank you for all of the hard work put into the choir direction by our four directors: Cathy Martin, Barbara Full, Dan Thomas, and Ray Lowther. Their hard work has produced a choir that we have been very proud of this year. YOUTH SKATING PARTY – The Trinity youth group is planning a trip to Skate Country, South Parkersburg on Saturday, June 17th from 7:30 pm until 9:30 pm. Anyone interested in going please contact Terry Shaw at 304-916-5281. If it is more convenient for some of the parents, Terry can pick up and drop off some of the kids at the church.
MOVIE NIGHT – Movie Night for June will be on the 18th and the movie will be The Wizard of Oz. Pizza and popcorn will be served at 5:45 p.m. and the move will start about 6:00 p.m. Feel free to bring a snack to share and be sure to invite your friends.
