DIRECTORY PICTURES – We will be producing our in-house pictorial directory on September 1st but we still need several family pictures. If you have a picture you would like to use you may email it to Jim Full at news@trinity-church.org or you can drop off pictures to the office. We will also be taking pictures during coffee hour if that is more convenient. We want to get everyone’s picture so our directory will be complete.
WEST VIRGINIA FLOOD RELIEF – As most of you know, many hundreds of homes, businesses, and at least two schools were affected in this weekend’s floods in the northern part of the state. A state of emergency was declared in eight counties — Monongalia, Marion, Harrison, Tucker, Taylor, Wetzel, Ohio, and Marshall. EPISCOPAL CHURCHES in the affected area needing assistance or support in helping yourselves or others in the community, contact Cathy Slemp, Diocesan Relief and Development Coordinator: 304-654-0026 or cathy.slemp@att.net.
ASSITANT BISHOP’S VISIT – Bishop Mark Van Koevering will visit Trinity on December 3. This will give us an opportunity for Confirmation and baptisms. If you are interested in joining Trinity and being confirmed (or baptized or both), please let Fr. Paul know right away. Confirmation preparation will take place on Sunday mornings during Adult Education starting October 1. If you have any question, please talk to Fr. Paul.
