STEWARDSHIP – The Ingathering we are celebrating together during this Harvest Sunday testifies to two important facts: (1) we are the recipients of abundant gifts from God, and (2) we are committed to sharing those gifts with others by supporting the mission and ministry of Trinity Episcopal Church. To those who have thoughtfully and prayerfully prepared a pledge card for today’s Ingathering, thank you. To those who are still considering their pledge amount for 2018, we join you in praying for wisdom as you prepare to faithfully demonstrate God’s generosity. Together, we all serve as witnesses of God’s physical blessings to our world and we thank Him for that opportunity!

TRINITY YOUTH –  Trinity youth will get together today after the 10:30 church service to fill baskets of food for needy families for Thanksgiving followed by a lesson on making cake doughnuts with Chuck Guyer. There will be decorating and eating for all. Hope to see all Trinity youth at this event. Call Terry Shaw if you have any questions at 304-916-5281.

ADVENT WORKSHOP – First Lutheran will once again be hosting an Advent Workshop on Sunday, December 3rd from 4-6pm. This is a family event but also many of our widows and others without families enjoy the craft making as well. The Advent workshop is an afternoon of making crafts that help us to enjoy and experience the Advent season. We will be making advent wreaths, nativity candles, angels, and a few other items. There is no cost and a hot dog dinner will be provided after we finish crafting.  If you would like to participate please contact Tiffany Deem by November 30.

DISCRETIONARY SUNDAY – Today is Discretionary Sunday. The loose offering today goes for expenses related to the exercise of ministry not otherwise provided in the church’s budget. The primary use of discretionary funds is to assist the poor of the congregation and the larger community with food, gas, bus tickets, and utilities.
