ADULT EDUCATION class will begin a study of the CS Lewis book “Mere Christianity”. It includes a reading of the book and DVD assisted discussion of the book. It will last at least 8 weeks. The study will begin on April 17th. All are welcome.
EVANGELISM WORKSHOP – Invite – Welcome – Connect will be held April 23, 2016, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., at the Memorial Church of the Good Shepherd in Parkersburg. Mary Parmer, a nationally acclaimed Episcopal speaker on Evangelism and Newcomer Ministries, is the workshop leader. Cost of the workshop is $45 per person, or $35 per person for groups of three or more from the same congregation. To register, please send your check, along with your name, contact information, and church name to Diocese of WV, PO Box 5400, Charleston, WV 25361. Note ‘Evangelism Workshop’ in the memo line.
PETERKIN WORK WEEKEND – Hold the dates of May 13-15, 2016 for the Peterkin Work Weekend. More information will be available soon.
ST. ANNE’S – The last St. Anne’s meeting before the fall will be held on at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 19th at the home of Paula Sellers in Belpre.
MOVIE NIGHT – The second movie night is scheduled for April 17 at 5:45. The movie will be Minions.
PILLOW TALK – Pillow Talk is a program for replacing the pillows at Peterkin. St. Anne’s Guild and the ECW are helping to support this project, but the ladies want this to be a parish-wide effort. Please consider helping make a night at Peterkin be even better than it is now by giving a check to “Trinity Church” with the notation “Pillow Talk” in the memo space.
FYNE JUNQUE SALE is accepting donations. The Sale will be May 6 and 7. We will store items in the left book nook and the old DRE office. [Books will be stored in the right book nook until sorted then they will be stored on the stage.]
