Paul is looking for volunteers that want to serve on an In-reach/Welcoming committee. This committee would not only help to welcome new visitors on Sunday and with follow up contact but will also look to help re-engage current parishioners that we may not see on a regular basis just to make sure everything is ok. If you feel led to participate in this manner, please let Fr. Paul know of your interests. VISITORS – If you are visiting with us today, we welcome you and hope your visit is meaningful. Please fill out a visitor’s card found on the back of the pew in front of you, so we may get to know you better. ADT SECURITY SYSTEM  – This is to notify you that the security system has been installed at the Church. There will be a short grace period so that anyone who already has a key can obtain their code. Then signs will go up on the doors to remind you not to use your key if you do not have a code. You may obtain a code from Susie. You may come by the office during business hours if you would like instructions in using the system. Anytime you leave the building you must be sure there is no one else in the building before setting the alarm. Thank you for your cooperation. Father Paul FIRST FIVE – Let’s remember to welcome our visitors and take the first five minutes after worship to speak to people we do not know. If you don’t know them, this is a wonderful time to meet them! SNACKS FOR CONVENTION – We will need brownies and cookies for the Diocesan Convention on October 19th and 20th. Please bring them to the office on Wednesday, October 17th. We have been intentionally doing this for the Saturday night service and it brings a different dynamic to the worship and to the singing. So, for those of you that like the back row, just make the back row about halfway up the pews, and everyone else fill in ahead of them. If we try this, I think you will notice a difference. BLESSING OF THE ANIMALS – The blessing of the animals will be October 7 in our parking lot. We will have a canopy set up and we hope the new fence will have been installed. Winding Road Kennel, which is sponsored by Faithlink, will be on hand to answer any questions about pets or opportunities for volunteering. Invite your family, friends, and neighbors to join us. HERITAGE DINNER – Please remember to return your Heritage Dinner response card and envelope addressed to Bob & Jane Harris with your check for $30 per meal made out to Trinity Church. Be sure to mark which person wishes which entree. The deadline for reservations to be received by the Harrises is October 5th to allow time for the Hotel to prepare. If you did not receive an invitation and RSVP envelope, please contact the church office.
