BIRTH ANNOUNCEMENT – Jesse Paul Thomas was born to Kelly and Andy Thomas April 12th, weighing 7 lb 1 oz, and 19″ long.  Mother and sond are doing well. FYNE JUNQUE SALE – The Fyne Junque sale will be May 4 and 5. Items may be brought in at any time and can be placed in the back-left alcove of Trinity Hall. LUTHERAN GOLF LEAGUE – We have been invited to join the Lutheran golf league this summer. The first league date in Monday, April 30 at 5:00 p.m. The league will be played at Worthington Golf Club and is open to men and women. The cost for golf is $15. An organizational dinner will be held April 23rd at Worthington. See Fr. Paul of you are interested in joining. ALTAR FLOWERS- If you have signed up to provide altar flowers on a specifid Sunday, please notify the office about how you would like it to read int the bulletin.  There are forms you can fill out on the bulletin board in Trinity Hall beside the sign-up sheet.  This will keep Susie from having to call you.  Also, please let us know if you plan to take the flowers home.  Thanks for your help. CASA is a program where trained court appointed volunteers represent the best interest of an abused or neglected child for whom placement is being determined by the court. A CASA volunteer acts as a fact finder of the child’s best interest, providing a judge with valuable information about the child to help the court make a sound decision about the child’s future. Last year we began a tradition of celebrating this service with several churches with the service being held at the 1st Lutheran Church on 19th street. We are not just attending their service but are co-participants. Lynn Fury-Prather with be a Lay Reader and I will lead a collect and assist with the distribution of communion. This service has been observed since the 4th century and is the first service of Easter. This is the service that officially lights the Paschal Candle. I hope many of you will join me for this service, March 31 at 7:00 pm. Fr. Paul+ GREAT VIGIL – We need people for the Great Vigil tha begins immediately following the Maundy Thursday service.  There is a signup sheet on the bulletin board in Trinity Hall for you to choose a time, or times, to participate.  Several times are still available, and we hope to have all the times covered. ANNE’S – St. Anne’s Guild will meet on Tuesday, March 20 at 1:30 in Trinity Hall for a regular meeting and program. Lynn Fury-Prather will be the hostess. Please let Connie Warren or Sue Palmer know when they phone you if you will be able to attend. Paul+ CLOTHES CLOSET – With spring just around the corner, the clothes closet is in need of warm weather clothing. Most of the clothing they have is winterwear and can’t be used for summer. EVENING PRAYER AND LENTEN DINNERS – Lenten covered dish dinners will continue each Wednesday during Lent. Evening prayer will begin at 6:00 p.m. followed by dinner. March 14, Kelly Thomas will have a presentation on how to use Facebook and how to navigate the Trinity Facebook page. She is inviting everyone to bring their electronic devices, so you can get hands-on experience. There will be a signup sheet in Trinity Hall each week for setup and clean up for the host group. Host groups are: February 8 – ECW, March 7 – St. Anne’s, March 11 – ECW, March 18 – Men. STATIONS OF THE CROSS – Stations of the Cross is prayed at 5:30 p.m. every Friday in the Nave each Friday during Lent. Interested participants will go to dinner afterward. CELEBRATION OF LIFE – A Celebration of the Life of Carma Guertin will be held at Trinity Saturday, March 10 at 1:00 p.m. A reception in Trinity Hall will follow.
