As a follow-up to Allan’s remarks last Sunday, he would like to emphasize the importance of cleaning the organ pipes.  There is more humidity trapped in the pipe chambers than in the church.  Once this mixes with the plaster dust and then sets as the temperatures cool, it will form uneven thickened areas on the metal pipes that will change the shape of the pipe and greatly affect the sound and tuning.  We need your help to pay for the needed maintenance.  Please pray about this and give as you are led.  Remember: each contribution is matched, dollar-for-dollar.  Watch for more information to come in the Trinity Times. ADULT EDUCATION – There will no Adult Education next two Sundays (September 4 & 11) while Fr. Paul is attending continuing education. OFFICE CLOSED – The office will be closed September 5 for Labor Day. The feeding program will continue as usual.

We would like to invite all students and teachers to bring your backpacks or school bags with you to the 10:30 service at Jackson Park to have them blessed! FOOD CLOSET – Almost 80 people have been served by the Food Closet in the last two months. This demand is a little higher than normal, but we expect it to remain steady in the coming months. Please consider helping to stock the Food Closet with canned vegetables, canned soups, baked beans, and fruit cups. Bev Reger notes that Aldi’s usually has the best prices on these items. If you prefer, feel free to give a monetary donation to Bev or the church office (mark it for the Food Closet). Thank you for helping to feed our community members! GREENBRIER VALLEY FLOOD RELIEF – Volunteers are still working to help flood victims in our Diocese.  You can also donate through Trinity and your donation will show on your giving statement.  Just mark on your check it is for “Flood Relief”.  Every donation that we have received of prayer, time, items and money has been of tremendous help, and we thank you for your generosity.
