CPC Quilt Fundraiser – The Church Periodical Club is an independent affiliated organization of the Executive Council of the Episcopal Church, dedicated to the ministry of the written word, providing materials, both religious and secular, to children and adults both here and all over the world through grants. Lenton Letter – With Ash Wednesday fast approaching and since we not yet back to in person church services, Father Paul is working on a Lenton Letter, along with some resources, that he will send out to everyone with guidance on how we can all enter into a Holy Lent this year. It should go out early this week, so you will have it well before Lent begins. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call Fr. Paul. The Monday feeding ministry is looking for additional help with providing baked goods to the hungry in our community. We currently have two wonderful bakers who bless us with homemade goodies and Panera will occasionally send us some desserts on Mondays (but we can not count on every week). If you would like to help with providing baked goods, please call Michelle Turner (985-290-0588) or leave a message with Julie at the parish office (304-422-3362) May God bless you always. Paul is required to make it available to all of Trinity’s parishioners. In our current environment, he thinks the best way is by email or regular mail by request. If you would like a copy, please copy Julie at the office. Fr. Paul believes it will also be available on the Diocese’ social media. Of course, first and foremost we will be worshipping God and celebrating the birth of our savior, Jesus Christ. The 5:30 service will have special music, there will be a virtual concert at 10:30, and Midnight Mass will have special music, incense, a processional and even Silent Night. The Christmas Day service will be a “quiet service” (no music). All three will be broadcast on Facebook Live (the public page, not the private group). We wil accept brown bags, plastic bags, or checks. Personal Care Packets – Trinity Partners with Good Shepherd “Adopt a Family” program by supplying personal care packages for each family. These include soap, toothpaste, tooth brushes, combs, hair brushes, razors, shaving cream, deodorant, and shampoo. FISH Kits – First I See Him packets are filled with scripture based crafts, snacks, worksheets, and activities that feature a specific Bible lesson.
