FOOD FOR THE POOR – Today we will welcome the Reverend Bruce Torrey to worship with us. He speaks for those who have no voice – the destitute of the developing world served by Food For The Poor, an interdenominational ministry providing food, clothing, medical care, housing and economic development programs in the Caribbean and Latin America. We are glad to have you worship with us today, Fr. Torrey.
DOK MEETING – The WV State DOK meeting will be held in Bridgeport on July 28. The book study at Panera has been rescheduled for August 4. PRAY, FAST, AND ACT – The Episcopal Church and the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America continue our united call to Pray, Fast, and Act. This month we focus on disaster preparedness. The United States and its territories are more frequently experiencing severe weather patterns. Fast-moving wildfires in California fueled by drought and intense winds forced tens of thousands of people to flee their homes, more than 40 deaths, and the destruction of more than 8,000 structures. On July 21, pray for all those affected by disasters. Remember those who have lost everything and all those who are working to respond. UPCOMING EVENTS
