The first day is Monday, Nov 7 starting at 9:00 a.m. and runs through Saturday at noon. Starting the week before, we will need lots of volunteers to help set up for the sale and related activities. This year we are excited to add a few events. In addition to the sale of books, Christmas items, and delicious food, we will also be offering tours of the sanctuary (M-Th) including, during the afternoon tours, an organ demonstration. Also, after the 6:00 pm tour, Fr. Paul will offer Evening Prayer in the sanctuary. So when Becky Roberts calls for volunteers, we will also need a few tour hosts. We have a lot of information already prepared for the tour hosts to share. A bulletin will be available in Trinity Hall describing the sale and its related activities, new and old. Please take the book sale insert in your bulletin and post it at your work place, beauty salon, grocery store—anywhere there is a public bulletin board that allows you to post it, and/or social media. CHRISTMAS ADOPTED FAMILIES PROJECT-PERSONAL CARE ITEMS – We are trying to make up personal care packets for the 75 families that will be helped this Christmas. The first Sunday we needed full bottles of shampoo, and last week it was shave cream and packages of disposable razors. Listed below is the count for what we have received to date, and how many more are needed. (Note, the best place to shop is Dollar Tree – full size items are all $1).
