OLD FASHIONED HYMN SING – On June 12 at 5:00 p.m., we will have an old fashioned hymn sing in the Nave followed by a fried chicken dinner in Trinity Hall. Everyone is welcome.  SUMMER CHOIR – We are looking for some volunteers for a Summer Choir.  If you are interested please see Paul Miller, who has graciously agreed to be a coordinator.  If you ever had any interest in singing, now is your chance.   Everyone is welcome.  It really is just intended to process with the priest and lead us all in singing of the hymns.  It all helps us worship God. The choir will begin singing by May 29. No rehearsals will be necessary. CHILDREN’S MINUTE begins June 4th at the 10:30 service.  Watch for additional information

CELEBRATION OF MINISTRY – Today is a celebration of the ministry of our Choirmaster, Dan Monek. Dan has accepted a position at North Carolina State University. Several former Scholar Singers will be returning to sing with the choir and a special coffee hour will follow the service. Dan will be greatly missed at Trinity, and at Marietta College, but we wish him and Lindsey well on their new challenges. GRADUATE SUNDAY will be in June. LANDSCAPING – We need to perform some spring landscaping.  Several of the bushes need trimmed, a couple of items removed and we would like to really spruce up the planters in the parking lot and maybe perform some maintenance in that lot as well.  Please let Father Paul know your willingness to help and watch for a workday date soon. SCHOLAR SINGERS – Today is the last day this year for our scholar singers from Marietta College. We appreciate their time and energy to help make the Trinity choir as wonderful as it is. If you have an opportunity, please think them for their participation. The singers for this year are Morgan Massaro, Colin Rhodes, Jamie Shoots, Blake Szkoda, Lucy Welles, and Jonah Litman. EVANGELISM WORKSHOP – Invite – Welcome – Connect will be held April 23, 2016, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., at the Memorial Church of the Good Shepherd in Parkersburg.  Mary Parmer, a nationally acclaimed Episcopal speaker on Evangelism and Newcomer Ministries, is the workshop leader.  Cost of the workshop is $45 per person, or $35 per person for groups of three or more from the same congregation.  To register, please send your check, along with your name, contact information, and church name to Diocese of WV, PO Box 5400, Charleston, WV  25361.  Note ‘Evangelism Workshop’ in the memo line.  PETERKIN WORK WEEKEND – Hold the dates of May 13-15, 2016 for the Peterkin Work Weekend.  More information will be available soon.  ST. Hicks 11:45 am: Coffee Hour *********************************************************************************************** EASTER FLOWERS that were inadvertently left out of the special insert in last Sunday’s bulletin:  In loving memory of Francis O’Donnell Northrup by Frank and Dorsey Northrup.  ADULT EDUCATION class will begin a study of the CS Lewis book “Mere Christianity”.  It includes a reading of the book and DVD assisted discussion of the book.  It will last at least 8 weeks.  The study will begin on April 17th.  All are welcome.  If you are interested in joining and do not have a copy of the Mere Christianity book, let Fr. Paul know today, so he can order enough.  2016 WOMEN’S CONFERENCE – The theme of the 2016 Women’s Conference is “The Courage to Grow Old.”  The Rev. Barbara Crafton will lead this informative and entertaining conference May 20-22 at Peterkin in Romney.  The conference will help older participants better understand their own aging process and give young ones insight on how to deal with aging parents and grandparents.   Registration forms are in Trinity Hall and in the Library.  PETERKIN WORK WEEKEND – Hold the dates of May 13-15, 2016 for the Peterkin Work Weekend.  More information will be available soon.  ST. ANNE’S – The last St. Anne’s meeting before the fall will be held on at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 19th at the home of Paula Sellers in Belpre.  MOVIE NIGHT  – The second movie night is scheduled for April 17 at 5:45.  The movie will be Minions.  DESTINATION DESIGN is Habitat for Humanity’s major fundraiser of the year.  It is scheduled for April 8 at the Grand Pointe Conference Center in Vienna.  Doors open at 5:30 p.m.  Tickets are $35 which includes a light dinner.  A silent auction and a live auction of furniture and other items for the home will be auctioned.  Local businesses and individuals have donated numerous beautiful items for you home.  Get your tickets by calling 304.422.7907, of at www.woodcountyhabitat.org.   This is an enjoyable evening and supports a wonderful organization.
