*******************************************************************
ANNUAL MEETING – The Annual Meeting will be held on Sunday, January 12th, at 11:30 a.m. Along with the various reports the approved budget will be presented for 2020. We will also elect our delegates for Diocesan Convention and our new vestry members. It is possible these will be the delegates that will elect the new Bishop. The candidates for Convention are Bob Harris, Paul Miller, Dennis Ramsay, and Scott Ramsay. The candidates for vestry are Kevin Oliphant, Bev Reger, and Paula Sellers, for full 3-year terms; Barbara Full to fulfil Becky Mathis-Stump’s unexpired term; and Mark Miller to fulfil Justin Warren’s unexpired term.
TRINTY TALENT SHOW – Last year’s talent show was so successful, we just have to do it again! We had great acts last year, and, of course, we’d love those people to come back, but we also hope that more of you will now get
up the nerve to share your talent with your Trinity family. Think about some special thing you could share with us — maybe you dance, juggle, tell jokes, recite poetry, sing, play an instrument, do magic tricks. We’d love to have a big variety of talents. We’re looking for acts of about 3-5 minutes each, although they could certainly be shorter. And if your act includes a friend who doesn’t attend Trinity, that’s fine, too. Get in touch with Barbara Full (304-482-8604) fullhouse@suddenlink.net and tell her what you’re
planning. We look forward to a fun evening!!
CONFIRMATION CLASS – The Bishop’s official visit will be April 19, 2020. The Bishop’s visit is the traditional time for confirmation. Confirmation classes begin with the youth on January12. We are trying to get a classroom ready on the second floor of the Rectory (office building). Adults should let Fr. Paul know of their interests.
NURSERY VOLUNTEERS – We are looking for Nursery Volunteers. Both of our long-term nursery workers suddenly quit. We still have one trained and qualified worker who is willing to work every Sunday. But we need to have two people in the Nursery. So, we are looking for volunteers. We have a couple, but we would like to have enough that they would be scheduled once every 6 to 8 weeks to work with the paid worker. Please let Father Paul, Bev Reger, or Susie know.
