BUILDING, GROUNDS, AND DÉCOR COMMITTEE  – Due to Valentine’s Day, the Building, Grounds and Decor meeting was moved and does not appear in Trinity Times. Our next meeting will be Thursday, February 21, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. in the Conference Room. We will be discussing progress on church projects, updates on unexpected repairs, Men’s Work Day efforts, ANYTIME projects, and prioritizing needs. Anyone is invited to join us.

FR. PAUL CONTINUING EDUCATION Fr.  – Paul will be out of the office for continuing education from Monday, February 18 through Saturday, February 23. Contact the office with any emergencies. QUIET DAY The Daughters of the King at Good Shepherd are hosting a Quiet Day on March 23rd. All women of the church are invited to attend. Sister Jean from Belpre will be the leader, and the theme is Compassion. It begins at 9:00 am and will end at noon with a box lunch. Contact Linda Bennett @ 304-295-9073 so that Sister Jean can determine the amount of materials needed.

ST. ANNE’S  – St. Anne’s Guild will hold its first meeting of 2019 in Trinity Hall at 1:30 on Tuesday, 19 February. In addition to the regular business meeting, devotions, and delicious desserts, the special speakers for the occasion will be Donna Gaston and Candace Jones, who will tell of their experiences on mission trips to Burkina Faso. A one-time part of France’s colonial empire in Africa, Burkina Faso is one of the smallest and poorest nations in the world. Mission work seeks to improve the health, education opportunities, and living conditions of the people and Donna and Candace will share their own experience with that work. Please circle the date on your calendar and be on hand to enjoy the fellowship, learn of this work, and plan the St. Anne’s calendar for the rest of the year.

RETREAT  – The Diocesan Commission on Spirituality invites you to attend “Listening Hearts, Open Minds” May 10-11 at Bishop Hodges’ Retreat Center in Huttonsville. The retreat, led by Father Brian Shoda, will teach participants how to have deeper and more meaningful relationships with God and others.
