FIRST SATURDAY BREAKFASTS – The First Saturday Breakfasts at the Redwood have been cancelled until further notice.
WEDNESDAY IN LENT – Lenten dinners continue each Wednesday with Evening Prayer at 6:00 p.m., covered dish dinner at 6:30 p.m., and Lenten study at 7:00 p.m. Youth activities will also be available. If you need the nursery to be available contact the office so we can have someone available.
TRINITY MEN’S GROUP – The Trinity Men’s group will begin meeting for breakfast at 9:00 a.m. in Trinity Hall on the second Saturday of each month. However, in April, the men will meet on April 22. In addition to breakfast and devotional time, the men are willing to work on small jobs around the church. So if you see a repair or task that needs to be done, please place a note in the “Job Jar” located in the Memorial Library. Please include your name in case we have additional questions. All men and boys of the church are invited.
INSTRUCTED EUCHARIST – Both of today’s services are instructed Eucharist. We hope that if you are relatively new to the Episcopal Church, this instructed Eucharist will more fully equip you for worship and enable you to enter more deeply into this wonderful and beautiful holy mystery. If you are an Episcopalian of longstanding, we hope you will enjoy a refresher in this most holy sacrament.
CHRISTMAS GIVEAWAY – Last year we served around 400 people in a Christmas giveaway for the needy. If anyone would like to be involved in this ministry, we have already begun collecting donations for this year. On Sunday, March 26th K-Mart on Division Street, south side of Parkersburg, will be having their last major markdown before they permanently close the store. They still have many of the items that are most important for our Christmas giveaway, mainly: coats for all ages, hats, gloves, socks, boots, blankets, and toys. We accept all items, as people in need aren’t limited in what they need but we believe those items are some of the most important. Contact Terry Shaw for additional information.
