COMMUNITY RESOURCES – In June, our partnership with the Thrive food pantry resulted in assistance to 86 total people, 64 of which were new, and 14 were referred to case management for additional assistance. Through our partnership with Community Resources, 20 families received utility assistance from the Trinity Funding.
NOTE FROM OUR TREASURER – With a busy summer upon us, please do not forget to keep your pledges up to date. We still have bills to pay.
BUS TRIP TO WHEELING – On Saturday, October 5 we have scheduled a bus trip to Wheeling to hear Bishop Michael Curry speak. There are a few tickets left at a cost of $36.18, which includes the bus ticket and a ticket for the event. Contact Lynn Fury-Prather at 304-483-1297 for additional information and to purchase tickets.
PICTORIAL DIRECTORY UPDATE – We are getting ready to update our pictorial directory, but we still have a few pictures to add. FIRST FIVE – This is a friendly reminder for you to take the first five minutes following the dismissal to greet someone in the service that you don’t know and make them feel welcome.
FR. PAUL AT PETERKIN – Fr. Paul will be at Peterkin family camp from July 7th through July 13th.
CHURCH PICNIC – The church picnic will be August 11 at the City Park. We will have more information later in the summer.
ECW – The ECW will hold their July meeting on July 30 in the conference room.
