CPC SUNDAY – Today is Church Periodical Club Sunday. This Ministry collects money to help Seminarians with the cost of their books. The books are very expensive and the monies collected are used to sponsor national and diocesan grants. An envelope for your donation is included in your bulletin.
SUPPER CLUB – Supper Club for October will be hosted by Edie and Bob Newman at The Levee House Restaurant in Marietta on the 21st. Please let them know by Tuesday, October 18th if you plan to attend so they can get an accurate count to give the restaurant.
FAMILY MOVIE NIGHT will be October 16th and the movie will be “Ratatouille”.
BOOK SALE – The book sale is right around the corner! The first day is Monday, Nov 7 starting at 8:00 a.m. and runs through Saturday at noon. Starting the week before, we will need lots of volunteers to help set up for the sale and related activities. This year we are excited to add a few events. In addition to the sale of books, Christmas items, and delicious food, we will also be offering tours of the sanctuary (M-Th) including, during the afternoon tours, an organ demonstration. Also, after the 6:00 pm tour, Fr. Paul will offer Evening Prayer in the sanctuary. So when Becky Roberts calls for volunteers, we will also need a few tour hosts. We have a lot of information already prepared for the tour hosts to share. A bulletin will be available in Trinity Hall describing the sale and its related activities, new and old.
