CLOTHES CLOSET  – The Clothes Closet is in serious need of the following items for men & women: Jeans, sweatshirts and hoodies, jackets, short and long sleeve T shirts, boots, and blankets. We also need more volunteers for the clothes and food closets. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

CHRISTMAS GIVEAWAY – Trinity is sponsoring a Christmas Giveaway again this year to help less fortunate folks enjoy a nicer Christmas than they ordinarily would have. Items needed are winter coats for men, women, and children, new and used toys, hats, scarfs, mittens, gloves, adult winter clothes, and new and used small appliances. Arrangements can be made to drop off items at the church. Monetary gifts are also accepted.

FIRST FIVE – Let’s remember to welcome our visitors and take the first five minutes after worship to speak to people we do not know. If you don’t know them, this is a wonderful time to meet them!

ADOPTED FAMILIES PROJECT – Again, this year, Trinity will be aiding the “Adopted Families” project sponsored by Good Shepherd by providing 75 Personal Care Packages. There is a list of items needed in a jumbo zip bag and we ask that you take at least one to fill. We have found that The Dollar Tree in the Park Shopping Plaza is the best place to buy these items. The bags are on the front pews in the Nave.

SMOKE ALARM VOLUNTEERS – Unfortunately, a conflict has developed with the fire department, so the smoke detector event scheduled for November 3 will need to be postponed until the Spring and a date to be determined later.

DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME – Daylight Saving Time ends next Sunday, November 4 at 2:00 a.m. Don’t forget to set your clocks back one hour before you go to bed Saturday.
