FAMILY MOVIE NIGHT – May 22, 2016 – The movie will be Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Pizza will be served at 5:45 p.m. and the movie to begin about 6:10. Please bring your favorite movie snack to share and please bring a friend or friends! Popcorn will be provided. CELEBRATION OF MINISTRY – Today is a celebration of the ministry of our Choirmaster, Dan Monek. Dan has accepted a position at North Carolina State University. Several former Scholar Singers will be returning to sing with the choir and a special coffee hour will follow the service. Dan will be greatly missed at Trinity, and at Marietta College, but we wish him and Lindsey well on their new challenges. GRADUATE SUNDAY will be in June. We need the names of all graduates from High School and College.  The child of…, or grandchild of…, the name of the school/college from which they are graduating, and if college, the degree. Please call the office with the names. DOOR LOCKS – We have had a rash of finding some of the doors to the church being unlocked.  Please remember if you are here after hours or are the last one leaving, to check all the doors, especially in the Rectory, to make sure they are locked. LANDSCAPING – We need to perform some spring landscaping.  Several of the bushes need trimmed, a couple of items removed and we would like to really spruce up the planters in the parking lot and maybe perform some maintenance in that lot as well.  Please let Father Paul know your willingness to help and watch for a workday date soon. SUMMER CHOIR – We are looking for some volunteers for a Summer Choir.  If you are interested please see Fr. Paul, or Paul Miller, who has graciously agreed to be a coordinator.  If you ever had any interest in singing, now is your chance.   Everyone is welcome.  It really is just intended to process with the priest and lead us all in singing of the hymns.  It all helps us worship God. ****************************************************************************************************  Serving Today   Celebrant: The Reverend Paul. We are in desperate need of more help. If any of you over the age of 21 were considering the chance to give back to this blessed ministry, register with Daisy McBride soon. ALTAR FLOWERS – Numerous Sundays on the flower chart in Trinity Hall are empty. DIOCESAN LOGO CONTEST – The Diocesan Commission on Racism and Diversity (CORD) asks for your help in creating a new logo and poster to publicize their work. Entry Deadline:  May 5, 2016.  All entries must be submitted email or mailed to the Diocesan Office at P.O. Box 5400, Charleston, WV  25361.  Electronic entries should be sent to mbailey@wvdiocese.org. SCHOLAR SINGERS – Today is the last day this year for our scholar singers from Marietta College. We appreciate their time and energy to help make the Trinity choir as wonderful as it is. If you have an opportunity, please think them for their participation. The singers for this year are Morgan Massaro, Colin Rhodes, Jamie Shoots, Blake Szkoda, Lucy Welles, and Jonah Litman. SUPPER CLUB – Supper Club for May will be at 6:30 p.m. May 27th, at the home of Katherine and Madison Brown. PILLOW TALK – Pillow Talk is a program for replacing the pillows at Peterkin. St. Anne’s Guild and the ECW are helping to support this project, but the ladies want this to be a parish-wide effort. Paul know today, so he can order enough.  2016 WOMEN’S CONFERENCE – The theme of the 2016 Women’s Conference is “The Courage to Grow Old.”  The Rev. Barbara Crafton will lead this informative and entertaining conference May 20-22 at Peterkin in Romney.  The conference will help older participants better understand their own aging process and give young ones insight on how to deal with aging parents and grandparents.   Registration forms are in Trinity Hall and in the Library.  PETERKIN WORK WEEKEND – Hold the dates of May 13-15, 2016 for the Peterkin Work Weekend.  More information will be available soon.  ST. UTO BOX REMINDER – Please remember to turn in your “filled” UTO boxes on Easter Sunday.  FYNE JUNQUE SALE is accepting donations.  The Sale will be May 6 and 7.  We will store items in the left book nook and the old DRE office.  [Books will be stored in the right book nook until sorted then they will be stored on the stage.]  WOOD COUNTY SOCIETY TELETHON – Our own Becky Roberts will be answering the phones for the Wood County Society telethon seen on WTAP this Sunday, March 20, 2016.  The telethon will run from 12:30 pm until 6:00 pm and Becky will be answering the phones from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm.  The telethon raises money for special needs children and adults in the Wood County area.  2016 WOMEN’S CONFERENCE – The theme of the 2016 Women’s Conference is “The Courage to Grow Old.”  The Rev. Barbara Crafton will lead this informative and entertaining conference May 20-22 at Peterkin in Romney.  The conference will help older participants better understand their own aging process and give young ones insight on how to deal with aging parents and grandparents.   Registration forms are in Trinity Hall and in the Library.  CLOTHES CLOSET MINISTRY is accepting clothing (or money) donations.  TIMES DEADLINE is today.  Please have anything you would like in May issue to Barbara Full A.S.A.P.  fullhouse@suddenlink.net

DISCRETIONARY SUNDAY  – Today is Discretionary Sunday. The loose change in the offering plate will be used to assist people in need.  FINANCE AND VESTRY will meet tomorrow at 6:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.  LASAGNA DINNER – Wednesday, February 24th, we will have our annual Lasagna covered dish dinner followed by evening prayer.
