WONEN’S CONFERENCE – All women in the diocese are urged to save the dates of September 8-9, 2017 for this year’s Women’s Conference. It will be held in the Charleston area and the Rev. Helen Van Koevering will be the guest speaker. The hotel and theme for the weekend will be confirmed soon and we will send it to you, along with a registration form, on WV Mission later this month.
WEST VIRGINIA FLOOD RELIEF – As most of you know, many hundreds of homes, businesses, and at least two schools were affected in this weekend’s floods in the northern part of the state. A state of emergency was declared in eight counties — Monongalia, Marion, Harrison, Tucker, Taylor, Wetzel, Ohio, and Marshall. EPISCOPAL CHURCHES in the affected area needing assistance or support in helping yourselves or others in the community, contact Cathy Slemp, Diocesan Relief and Development Coordinator: 304-654-0026 or cathy.slemp@att.net.
ASSITANT BISHOP’S VISIT – Bishop Mark Van Koevering will visit Trinity on December 3rd. This will give us an opportunity for Confirmation and baptisms. If you are interested in joining Trinity and being confirmed (or baptized or both), please let Fr. Paul know right away. Confirmation preparation will take place on Sunday mornings during Adult Education starting October 1st. If you have any questions, please talk to Fr. Paul.
